Bubbles
For 5's and under and their carers, held fortnightly on Wednesdays from 10 am to 11.30 am
Our sessions typically include:
- An unstructured free play time where the children can use a variety of large & small toys and play equipment, as well as making a 'take home' craft item.
- A snack time, offering a choice of snacks. Please bring a drink for your child. All the children enjoy snack time together as a group.
- A short singing & story time, which usually includes meeting Bubbles the toy hippo, a Bible Story, and a variety of well-known nursery rhymes and Christian songs.
- Refreshments are available for the Grown Ups.
- The final part of the session is for active play often with parachute games, a slide and various ride on toys.
The last session of each term always has a special theme. We celebrate Christmas at the end of the Autumn Term. We celebrate Easter at the end of the Spring Term and at the end of our Summer Term we have a Teddy Bears Picnic.
We meet in a large spacious hall, within which there is a dedicated area for babies where they can play safely, without risk of being knocked over by any enthusiastic toddlers! We also have an enclosed garden which we can use on sunny days. There is ample parking for cars and a room to park pushchairs
Bubbles is free of charge.
Whether you are new to parenting and or more experienced, a mum, a dad, a grandparent, a childminder or a carer – All are welcome.
We look forward to meeting you and your little ones.
