Grace Fellowship

There's plenty of opportunities to get involved in different groups during the week as well as various events taking place throughout the year. Be sure to check the church calendar on the website as these get updated regularly!

Bubbles Baby and Toddler Group
For 5's and under and their carers, held fortnightly on Wednesdays from 10 am to 11.30 am

Bubbles is an opportunity for Babies and Toddlers to enjoy safe play, as they participate in activities both independently and together with their Carers. The Grown Ups can enjoy time with their children and opportunities to chat with other Parents and Carers at the Group.
Our sessions typically include:
  • An unstructured free play time where the children can use a variety of large & small toys and play equipment, as  well as making  a 'take home' craft item.
  • A snack time, offering a choice of snacks. Please bring a drink for your child.  All the children enjoy snack time together as a group.
  • A short singing & story time, which usually includes meeting Bubbles the toy hippo, a Bible Story, and a variety of well-known nursery rhymes and Christian songs.
  • Refreshments are available for the Grown Ups.
  • The final part of the session is for active play often with parachute games, a slide and various ride on toys.
The last session of each term always has a special theme.  We celebrate Christmas at the end of the Autumn Term.  We celebrate Easter at the end of the Spring Term and at the end of our Summer Term we have a Teddy Bears Picnic.
We meet in a large spacious hall, within which there is a dedicated area for babies where they can play safely, without risk of being knocked over by any enthusiastic toddlers!  We also have an enclosed garden which we can use on sunny days. There is ample parking for cars and a room to park pushchairs
Bubbles is free of charge.
Whether you are new to parenting and or more experienced, a mum, a dad, a grandparent, a childminder or a carer – All are welcome.
We look forward to meeting you and your little ones.

At Grace Fellowship we want everyone to know and be able to understand what the Bible teaches.  This is why we have classes that allow children to discover what God has said to us in a way they can understand and enjoy.
We have two age based classes which run from 11.00 am to 12.00 am every Sunday.

Sparks – Key Stage 1 children - school classes Reception to Year 2

Ignite – Key Stage 2 children – school classes Year 3 to Year 6

Each group will look at a Bible story each week and learn who, what, where, when and how.  The teachers will share why the story is important and to enable the kids to know what it means for them.
Each week there will be a crafts or other activity that builds on the fun and learning.
Our teachers are all CRB checked and have been trained in our Child Protection Policy.
We would be happy to have your children join us on any given Sunday morning at 11.00

“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”  Proverbs 22 v6

The ladies group meets once a month and is open to all ladies who wish to come along.

We meet at church unless otherwise stated from 9:30am and have coffee followed by a talk. We break for coffee then have a time of prayer before finishing at 11:30am. For more information please speak to Karen Taylor or Carole Proudlock, or use the online contact form.

Grace Fellowship – “Band of Brothers” Meeting

Here at Grace Fellowship, we hold a monthly breakfast  meeting for men which we call our “Band of Brothers” meeting. We usually meet on the last Saturday of the month starting at 9:30am and finishing at 11:00am. The purpose of the meeting is two-fold;

• To discuss what God is doing in our lives and the practical difficulties we face as ordinary men trying to lead Godly lives and to thank and praise Him for His goodness to us. The discussions we have take place in an atmosphere of openness and confidentiality is assured;

• To fellowship and spend time together

Sometimes the meeting may take place away from the church or could even take place in the evening so, if you would like to come along, it’s always worth checking with us first.

The group meets regularly on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at the church from 12 o'clock to 2 pm. (Outings, which will be announced, will have modified times).
Starting from the beginning of March we're planning a varied programme with films, craft days, speakers, outings and games. Each session will cost £2 per person to cover the cost of lunch.

Outings will incur an additional charge to cover entrance fees etc. but this will be kept to a strict minimum

Twice a month on a Wednesday Grace Fellowship holds a midweek home group at the home of one of its members.
These will usually start around 7:30pm and can include a Bible study, prayer and time for fellowship.
