Carole reads for us this week from Matthews gospel Ch 16 Ver 13 - 20. This week we start a new series of sermans from the gospel of Johnl. John’s gospel is different to the other three. A lot of material present in Matthew, Mark and Luke is missing from John and vice-versa. What’s it all about? The author tells us his purpose in chapter 20:30-31 – he wants us to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. This overview is designed to discover the author, examine the structure of the Gospel and briefly look at some of the indicators or signs which point to Jesus being the Son of God. Do we really believe it ? Colins power point is aslo included for those who find it helpful.
