"Opposing Reactions to an Undisputed Miracle"

This weeks reading is Taken from John Ch 11:38 - 57. This week Colin continues with the raising of Lazarus - When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead there were many witnesses who were able to testify to the authenticity of what took place. They knew that Lazarus had been dead for four days but that now he was alive and walking about with them. The facts were clear, but the reactions were vastly different. Many believed, but the unbelieving Jewish authorities, unwilling to abandon their privileges, wanted Jesus dead. How many people today, despite the overwhelming evidence, refuse to acknowledge their sin and need of a Saviour; refuse to abandon their way of life. John wrote his book to show that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing, you might have life in his name. Do you believe?
